Unprofessional staff

Extremely, and embarrassingly unprofessional staff at CarMax. I called to ask a policy question, and the first man that I spoke with simply hung up on me unceremoniously.

I suppose because he didn’t like the nature of my question – although I was polite with him the entirety of our conversation.

I called again to ask for a manager to report this employee.

The manager, presumably anticipating my call, talked to me in a derogatory, aggressive manner, talking over me and not allowing me explain what just happened to me.

These guys are seriously unprofessional. I’ve never seen anything like it.

These guys are brutes.

I do not recommend this place at all.

  1. Terrible place to do ANY business with.

    Terrible place to do ANY business with. We were given a decent trade in on our car so decided to sell to Carmax. They realized a problem with the way it had been entered and were told it’s a quick fix. We were left for 30 minutes, so tried to find our finance officer – she said it would be about 20 minutes.

    This went on for MORE THAN 2 HOURS! We stayed because then the next higher up would say it was almost complete. NO ONE came to give us updates in all this time. After our third hour, the sales manager, Jasmine,

    offered us lunch on them and an apology for taking so much of our time. Funniest part – it’s been 2 weeks and they still won’t reimburse us or return our phone messages. SERIOUSLY?!?!

  2. Bad Service Provide

    So I get a call Friday from the service manager ask me to bring the car in so they can get some numbers off of it. It will only take 5 minutes well an hour later the kid comes back hands me a computer printout and tells me how I can fix the problem MYSELF or if I don’t feel comfortable I CAN BRING IT TO A DODGE DEALER and have them do it. $20,000.00 and a month later YOU CAN FIX IT YOURSELF, you can’t be serious.

    Never had a good experience there. Joanne claiming she is the general manager is arrogant and rude. Even Norman one of the floor guys was stubborn and left while we are talking to the manager as we are no one . I didn’t get my appraisal there , and I will never do so in the future .
