Carlos Keyes

I work for an institute where we provide acting classes. I am responsible for taking care of the extra activities that is a part of the curriculum. For example, arranging sessions with famous actors and singers to encourage students with their acting career. Few months back, I met Carlos Keyes. I found his information on the internet, the one from Red Entertainment.

I called him, and we arranged a meeting at our office. He came right on time. I did check the website and it was impressive. He had mentioned about the connections he had in the industry and what all he could do to motivate student through that.

The website mentioned a lot of things. Apart from arranging meetings with superstars, Carlos also excelled at getting the auditions done for the student. He tried to pitch me for that as well. But, I was not looking for that association as of that point.

He looked around our center. His words were that we were doing great job. Carlos promised that he could get one of the most famous Hollywood stars to visit the students. He explained the payment terms and showed me some papers. He asked me to go through it and to pay after I sign the papers.

He parted and suggested a meeting the next day. The price was no doubt higher than usual. But, the name that he suggested wouldn’t have been any less. We had an internal meeting and we decided that we won’t be paying the 100% advance which the agreement stated.

So, the next day, when Carlos came, we told him the changes that we wanted. He said that it would be fine if we keep it 50% advance and 50% on the day of the visit.

We agreed. He said that he would make the changes accordingly and send the documents for my signature. He came in the evening while I was leaving. He said that the changes were done and all he needed was my signature and a bank transfer.

I did as it was agreed. After a week, the day the visit was scheduled, I called him in the morning to check the updates. He said that the visit was not arranged as the payment was not made in full. He sent me a copy of the agreement which had my signature on it. The agreement was the old one without any changes.

We had to pay him in full as the amount was non-refundable. He said that the dates would be changed. Since then, we have been calling him to ask for the dates. And, he would either ignore our calls or would make flimsy excuses. This guy is completely insane and a scammer.

We shouldn’t have believed him. I am still trying to get hold of him. But, he won’t reply me all the time. It is very rare that he answers my call. This guy is a serious fraud and should not be trusted.
