Boulder Valley CPAS

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Ernie does an excellent job of selling his services to clients and makes it seem like he and his staff have a lot of knowledge, receptiveness, promptness, and attention – which is not the case.

Turbo Tax could have done our last year’s filings better.

They waited until the last minute to provide any indications of our filing, even though we had provided all necessary documents by February last year.

We had to hire a legitimate CPA company to amend our filing once they were done.

They did not complete the review of our tax situation, as stipulated in our contract, nor did they do half of what was promised.

Ernie was then charged with an arm and leg for a poor job. Ernie cannot lead this boat, and he’s in over his head.

This company is not recommended. Two of my friends have fired BVCPA due to the same issues. STAY AWAY

  1. Boulder Valley CPAs made two mistakes on my personal tax return.

Boulder Valley CPAs made two mistakes in my tax return. The IRS sent me a letter stating that I had 20 days to correct the errors. Ernie received the letter and promised to respond within one week. He did not respond for two weeks. I sent him an email to inquire about his response. He didn’t respond. I sent him another email stating that it was the IRS due date.
Please respond to my concern. He didn’t. Ernie replied to my email two days later with a more vital message. He accused me of not being aware of his staffing and scheduling issues and demanded that my email be rescinded. He would not correct the IRS error his firm had made if I did. Even though I felt my email was mild, I did make an apology for the tone and never heard from him again.

I had to call IRS by myself and fill out forms to correct the error. It didn’t cost me anything, but it did delay my refund for two months. This firm is not to be trusted. Another tax return warned me that they had made mistakes, but they didn’t listen. They seemed competent and responsive. They are neither.
