Bond New York

Horrible Experience

Terrible experience working with Bond New York. I initially reached out to them to see one apartment that was listed on ReNt Hop in the UWS.

She insisted at meeting at her office beforehand, which was not close to where the listing was.

Upon getting to the office, I wasted 20 mins filling out forms about what I was looking for, even though we had already discussed this on the phone prior.

The field agent that Krissy sent me out with was very nice but the whole process was extremely rushed.

Krissy picked places to show me that did not meet my criteria and were out of my price range and were a complete waste of time to even look at.

In the end, I never got to see the apartment that I initially contacted them about.

I did find one apartment that I would have considered putting in an application for, but the manager Krissy Rincon was VERY pushy.

I understand that NYC apartments go quickly and you need to act fast, but I wasn’t given even 5 minutes to think and felt like I was being harassed, with multiple texts and phone calls to come back to the office and fill out an application ASAP.

I finally made a decision on another apartment not through bond and was given attitude by the broker I worked with at bond when I told them I had found something else.

Horrible experience and waste of an afternoon. If you’re looking for an alternative, I highly recommend Anchor Associates.

  1. Stay away from this company at all costs.

This was the worst experience I have ever had. Not only do they try and take advantage of you, they are rude and unappreciative that they got business from “us” the customer. I worked with an agent by the name of Phil and let me tell you, this Lenny Kravitz looking low life was the scummiest person I’ve ever had to deal with in my life.

Not only did he haggle the pricing on the already outrageous broker fee, but when he had to do an extra hour of work, he came back asking for more money!!! The contracts were signed and stamped and he called my office for weeks asking to meet in person to give him some cash on the side.

The country is in a recession and there are way too many educated people out there for Bond Realty to be employing someone like this. All of this “bros” and “dudes” throughout the process don’t help either.

Stay away from this company at all costs. A friend of mine said it best, “working with bond is like buying a prostitute, you pay them a ton of money just to get f*cked”.

  2. I have had a terrible experience with Bond Realty

I have had a terrible experience with Bond Realty…they have failed to refund my application deposit after 2 weeks of requesting the refund. The broker was very rude when I asked for my deposit back…he hung up on me.

In addition, I was shown places that I wouldn’t bring a dog to…overall I don’t recommend this company for any real estate transaction.

  3. You don't sell stocks you cockaroach so stop acting like it!

I responded to an ad and met with Nelson Cabbassa, if that’s even his real name. He looks like he’s 19 years old trying to look old and professional but when you talk to him, he talks like he’s some uptown thug. Talk about wannabe BOILER ROOM. You don’t sell stocks you cockaroach so stop acting like it!

Right when I got there he asked me private financial information which I did not feel comfortable telling someone like him. I decided I’ve had enough with this MAD Magazine like office. I’ll pass and suggest you to pass as well.

  4. There are better companies and better experiences out there.

My boyfriend and I have been in touch with at least 4 agents at Bond and each one seems more incompetent than the next! Is this where all the people out of real estate school go?? No one has a clue and every apartment is conveniently rented.
