BMW of Birmingham

Their service department

Save yourself the hassle and choose another BMW dealership, because as per my point of view every dealership is very nice than BMW of Birmingham.

Just read the online reviews for this dealership regarding their service department and you’ll see that the only reason this place gets any service work.

They have a monopoly on the Birmingham BMW market since they are the only BMW dealer in Alabama besides Huntsville, Montgomery and Mobile.

In my opinion if you need superior quality service work with great pricing and customer service for a BMW outside of warranty look up Momentum Motorworks in Birmingham, Alabama.

They’re honest, have a sterling reputation in the BMW community and have great employees who actually care about your needs and concerns,

  1. Excellent service!!

Excellent service!! Jolee and the entire service department staff were knowledgeable and courteous, which is a great combination!

  2. Never Again

I could have called Lexus without waiting around all day! Now that I know how they treat and value potential customers, this dealership will never get my business! In fact, if I find out the Lexus dealership, next door, has the same attitude, and can’t or won’t work with BMW to make a sale of one of their cars they won’t get my business either! There is no point of mixing the inventories of these multiple dealerships, in this one area or complex if they refuse to work together to help customers.

  3. MY recommendation: spend an extra day and go to Atlanta for your BMW needs.

This is the worst place to buy a car from. I bought a new car from them in late. In early , the front tow hitch cover literally fell off of the car, nowhere to be seen. I have been trying to contact them for months about such a simple issue, with no response.

This is a sorry excuse for a dealership, and because of the organization of the company, they have an effective monopoly for the Birmingham area. MY recommendation: spend an extra day and go to Atlanta for your BMW needs.

  4. There customer service is horrible.

This is the most awful BMW dealership I have even seen in my life. I called for parts department it took me 30 mins to get them to answer the phone. Then once they confirmed they had the part which was on a Friday they would be shipping out that day. Well it was the following Monday before the order shipped. There customer service is horrible.

  5. Zac is a great SA and I bought around six cars from him, and he is a good friend of mine.

Zac is a great SA and I bought around six cars from him, and he is a good friend of mine. Tom Williams used to be good, although over priced and with a high Doc Fee. In my last purchase, the sales manager (not Zac) played the oldest most sleezy trick in the car business to cheat me out of $500. It was a behavior that can be only found in the most unethical used car dealer. They must have one $500 by cheating me, but they last a loyal customer who have purchased 6 cars from them in the past six years.

  6. Stay away from the service dept.

Stay away from the service dept. They will charge you just to charge because they can. I ask for my key fob to be program and they were not able to program my key fob and they charge for the service. It only takes a couple of seconds to find out if you are able to program a key fob or not but instead they charge me that they completed the work.

On top of that, that charge me for a shop fee for nothing. What a rip off. I will be complaining about them. BTW, they also scratch my wood trim and said I did it or it was already there. Be careful. They may seem nice but they will talk about you behind your back and charge you for crazy stuff.

  7. in that I now know I do not want to do business with this BMW period!

In some ways I am so glad this happened today, in that I now know I do not want to do business with this BMW period! Got on their web site, found the vehicle I was interested in, RX350 Lexus, not a BMW. Web site stated to “save time” they give option to pre fill out paperwork like trade in, payment information, your name, phone number, email and vehicle interested in.

Well, that sounded good to me, so I started. As soon as I entered my information I received a call from a salesman. He stated :we don’t have the vehicle on our lot, it’s over at the Lexus lot, (next door to them). it was not a part of their BMW inventory, although they have all the SEPARATE car dealerships inventories listed with the BMW web site.

The salesman lead me to believe someone would call me. Never happened! I did get an email back stating they would get back with me on my trade in value, which I needed this information to finish filling out the online paperwork. Finally, I got tired of waiting, I called Lexus to find out NO ONE called them from BMW or forwarded any of my information over to them.
