Blume Skin & Body

It made my face worse

I had a Venus Viva treatment done with Sandra months ago and got a bacterial infection on my face that I still am struggling to get rid of. I have never had acne this bad. Their website says that this treatment is safe for all skin types and has promising results for acne scars.

It made my face worse. I have these white bumps all over my cheeks that I have never had in my life and my face looks infected. We did alternate, subsequent treatments as well to try and remedy this and they did not help my face either.

If you are prone to acne and have oily skin, I would NOT recommend the Venus Viva laser treatment OR the RF Microneedling as I did both and things only got worse for me.

  1. I agreee 100 percent with this review!!

Worst experience ever with filler. Dr. Blume does not inject anymore, and he has two injectors working for him, who do NOT know what they are doing. They reluctantly gave me my money back. Also, their staff writes face reviews on YELP.

  2. I had my brows waxed and tinted at the Blume Skin Centre and am so pleased.

I had my brows waxed and tinted at the Blume Skin Centre and am so pleased. The aesthetician gave me tips and hints on how to make my brows look fuller and she was right. I also learned that they offer botox and facials and chemical peels. I will now be able to have all my services in one place- a huge time-saver for me. Very pleased with this experience.

  3. Worse yet, the response from Dr. Blume was very uncaring.

I would not recommend this Doctor, do your research before choosing someone to administer injections to your face. I never take the time to review, but this was a very bad experience for me. I have to live with a sagging eyelid and eye pain till the botox wears off. Worse yet, the response from Dr. Blume was very uncaring.

  4. I went with my wife to this office while she had a few diffrent procedures done.

I went with my wife to this office while she had a few diffrent procedures done. I found Dr. Blume to ebe very condescending, which was suprising since I was the one paying the ridiculously large total. What started out to be a $500-700 expense ended up more toward the $ 3000 dollar range. Dr. Blume and his assistant told my wife she woul be muchhhappier with sever additional procedures that what had been previously discussed.

Basically Dr. Blume made her feel she would not look good if the extra money wasn’t spent. Shame on him for not being more sensitive and seeing what would make my beautiful wife happy than telling her what would make her happy. As much as I wanted to his Napolean mouth shut, I didn’t want to embarass my wife.

After we arrived at home and within the next several days my wife looked at her face and cried, he over did the fillers, especially in the places he thought she needed it. He is a ruthless, mean man. My wife and I will discourage anyone we know from going near this office. If you should choose to go here, proceed with extreme caution and ladies, make sure you bring your men, It appears he has little to no repect for women.

  5. It's unbecoming - own it.

Scheduled an appointment a week ago and was just called and told 5 hours before my appointment that it needed be cancelled due to a “conflict”. They showed very little interest in moving appointments around to fit my schedule and could only do as good as “next week” even though I expressed to them how inconvenient this was for me. Showed no concern whatsoever to try to keep me as a client. Disappointing.

Response to comment below: Wow, that’s quite the fairytale response. I rescheduled (never canceled) my appointment once at least a week in advance. Not the same day, not two hours before and would be more than happy to swap phone records if you’d like (you know how to contact me). And a PR tip, don’t publicly sandwich a stream of insults towards a potential customer/patient who had a bad experience with your office staff with claims of taking pride in your customers. It’s unbecoming – own it.
