This bank is Absolute TRASH

I wish I could go lower than 1 star because Bellwether Community Credit Union is the absolute WORST bank I have EVER banked with.

I have banked with Navy Federal, Regional Acceptance, Chase, Wells Fargo and I have never had a SINGLE negative experience with any of the above financial institutions.

I am a Navy Veteran and I am lucky to be able to be a member of Navy Federal, so I recommend them for any of your banking needs if you have military relatives.

If you are in New Hampshire and are looking for a credit union I suggest you RUNNNNNNN.from.Bellwether.

The customer service is SOO terrible, snobby, rude, inconsiderate, did I mention VERY RUDE.

This bank is trash…trash trash trash..absolute TRASH.

I wish there was a way for us to connect with the CEO or something because when I tell you EVERY single person at Bellwether is garbage I can’t even stress it enough.

I always call in and I’m very nice and respectful but nope…they are automatically treating me as if I’m a convict or someone who should not receive respect.

I wish I did my research before I got an auto loan with them because now I’m the one that is suffering even though I was up to date on my payments at the time of my total loss.

I’ve cried and cried because they have damaged my chances of getting another vehicle and they still don’t care.

Member Services Reps are such jerks and the payment solutions team honestly isn’t any better.

Where do these find these women? Who is responsible for hiring these women? What is the criteria for hire? Rude, No compassion for humans, and aggressive? This review is getting long and I apologize.

Please, almost every review on here is bad. DO NOT USE BELLWETHER even if no one else will give you an auto loan, I suggest you walk to work or else you will regret it.

  3. I have had a few loans with them and never had a problem.

    I have read some of the negative reviews here and I have to say that I have never had a problem with BCCU. In fact, they have been great. My son had bad credit because of some issues he had to deal with and no one would give him credit. Since I was so happy with BCCU, I recommended that he try them.

    They gave him a loan for the vehicle that he wanted with me as a co signer. He paid it ahead of time and he now has a house thanks to his good credit and BCCU. I have had a few loans with them and never had a problem.

    I recently applied for a car loan and had a great experience. The woman (I regret not knowing her name) who greeted me at the door was very pleasant. I arrived on a busy day and all the staff were both informative and apologetic about the wait for a consultation.

    I found Kristina Dionne, in the load department, to be attentive, responsive, and willing to go extra lengths to provide exceptional customer service. She immediately responded to my emails and provided me with very comprehensive information about rates, loan terms and payment length.

    I asked extra things of Kristina (expediting the loan decision and receipt of money because I was on a time line, securing our FICO score, signing and returning the loan documents at two different locations, sending money to the auto maker in an atypical fashion) and she was very accommodating.
    I appreciate the excellent customer service I received and will continue to enjoy my membership, and the benefits, at Bellwether.

    I have been a customer of Bellwether Community Credit Union at their Hooksett Rd. site for many years. Assistance provided for obtaining any of the financial services I have required has always been excellent !!

    For example – I recently needed assistance regarding an account and met with Stephen Pliakos who demonstrates great financial as well as customer service skills ! He was patient and most efficiently and satisfactorily addressed what needed to be done.

    Decent employees. Bad rates, even worse online banking system. I would consider paying a higher loan rate to go to a different bank. I don’t recommend this credit union.

    DO NOT BANK HERE! I have had a loan here for six months they are nothing but rude and unhelpful. Their technology isn’t up to date and neither is their protocols.

    I try to pay as much as I can so I can get out of this loan faster. Even considering refinancing through a better bank. They shouldn’t even get one star! Just awful

  9. Terrible hours

    Quite possibly the worst customer service I’ve ever received. I thought switching to a smaller, local credit union would be a good option to avoid the hassle of large banks & contribute to local economy but will unfortunately have to switch.

    Terrible hours, no help when you have an issue outside of business hours (or weekends) and pretty much out of luck if you have an issue and you’re not physically in New Hampshire. Have been yelled at twice now when trying to resolve issues with my debit card not working — and issue has still not been resolved.

  10. He is extremely rude!!!

    I was in the Manchester location in an office with a rep. who called the loan department. Unbenounced ot the loan originater who was treating me terribly, she was on speaker phone and proceeded to insult me and the manger and the underwirters and when I explained this I was hung up on.

    Now we have hits on our credit for nothing as they had no clue how to write a loan for recreational vehicle. They are trying to become competent and will use my example to better there process I was told. O. thank you for that. We lost our chance at the purchase as the other buyer used a lending institution that could provide a service they marketed.

    We went to DCU Credit Union with all of our deposit accounts and future banking needs and have already been more rewarded in the short time we’ve been there then the past twelve at Bellwether.

  11. incompentence and extreme unprofessional attitude was remarkable.

    I had to use at least one star to write this however if I could there would be negative stars. After using this Credit Union for over 12 years they provided the absolute worst service to me and my wife. The loan department proved incompetent and unprofessional through the entire process.

    They started with false information to keep me from going to a competitor, after running both mine and my wife’s credit changed the entire package for the worst.

    They bait and switched so grossly that the manger was trying to pass the blame to his team and they were passing it on to the underwriters. The lack of communication, incompentence and extreme unprofessional attitude was remarkable.

    If you value your sanity do not use this financial institution. Their rules and regulations will make your head spin because they are so illogical. Take for example that a person listed as a secondary on an account can’t go down and request to be taken off the account.

    The whole account has to be closed down by the primary account holder and a new account opened! Crazy business practices equal poor customer service. Stay far far away

  13. I'm am so shocked at how this credit union is working

    I’m am so shocked at how this credit union is working . We sent overnight A P.O.A paid for it to be sent back. An no one can seem to find it. We have been told well there was a snow storm. It has been snowing for 4 days and we still get mail. The employees don’t re turn calls. I have been hung up on.

    We sent original documents and told they would be sent out. It has been a week and we have yet to receive them its seems no one knows were they are. Have asked to speak with Branch Manager an still no reply.

    The employees have been short and rude. We have stated we needed
    documents are need for further family business to be taken care of.
    an it doesn’t to a difference. I have never encountered such rudeness in my life. Sincerely North Country Girl

    Whent to get a loan for a car and was initially accepted and drove the car off the lot. I got a call the next day saying the bank declined it because the primary used her current pay of a quarter higher and they said it was suspicious and they wouldnt loan the money.
