Belland Realty Group

We Stuck It Out

Lawrence and Bernadette, his girlfriend, were my coworkers.

They worked together to make my wife and me go out of contract.

Lawrence would then call and send emails to threaten and ridicule us both, telling us that we would lose our house, which was being rented from the seller.

They could not get along with my mortgage officer because of their personality differences.

They told me that I could lose the house if they continued working with him.

My mortgage broker and my title company rep said they have never seen such unprofessional conduct in their careers.

We were told that some lawn equipment would be included in the first inspection of the house. Later, we discovered that Lawrence had made a side deal for the landlord/seller.

There are many more. We eventually purchased the house, and we persevered. But they made it a nightmare.

  1. I just saw this post and wanted to respond to Will D. I represented this man as his broker.

Just saw the post and wanted to reply to Will D. I was Will’s broker. I am a professional, long-term, full-time broker. This client wanted me to let him bend the contract regarding timelines and contingencies.
He thought he should be rewarded for his work. This is what made him mad. He thought he could get away with it because Lawrence represented an older woman who lived in another state. I repeatedly told him that he was out of contract and needed to perform. He didn’t have any real reason to extend the contingencies.
