ATA Lawn and Landscaping
Won’t fix damaged propertyI have two broken windows and a hole in my siding, on the side of my townhouse, from ATA Landscaping. The owner denies he did it and is trying to blame my neighbor’s landscaper. Yelled and cursed at me on the phone.
Between this year and last year, I also have four holes on my siding in the back of my house which he admitted to. I was suppose to get a reduction in the price of pavers but we never made it that far.
I should of fired the company, ATA Landscaping out of Berlin, after the damage to my backyard. Please don’t let this happen to you.
I tried to submit a homeowner’s claim and the damage is right below my deductible. The insurance adjuster confirmed that my landscaper did the damage and not my neighbor’s company. Since I’m not going through my insurance company they won’t fight for me. The owner of, ATA Landscaping, wouldn’t even come out to see my damages. He didn’t want to waste our time. He knows what a broken window looks like.
PLEASE DON’T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!! It’s been a nightmare.
This is a case where that overwhelmingly didn't happen.
Based on work done last year – Wasn’t happy. My yard was torn up by machinery. That was not explained beforehand. When I had asked about the use of machinery before work started I was told there would just be tire marks. Instead the yard was obliterated. They planted seed to replace the grass, which required us to spend an hour a day watering.
The grass didn’t fully come in and what did come doesn’t match the rest of the yard. Now that I can cut some of that grass my mower blades are getting chewed up because they didn’t rake those areas, or didn’t rake them well. Before mowing I got a lot of the big stones out but there are many small ones left. I should have used another company I received a quote from who stated they wouldn’t use any machinery. They were cheaper too.
In addition, the owner got snippy about my disdain for the work done and my hesitancy of paying him the balance, which like a fool I ended up doing. Just an overall lack of customer service. I don’t work in the business but I hear that the rule of thumb is to leave the place looking better than when you got there. This is a case where that overwhelmingly didn’t happen.
