– Poor Customer service.

– Worst online web site.

– The only way to pay the monthly dues without any additional fee is to setup auto pay!

If you try to pay them over phone or online, they will charge a fee of min.

$10. Or you post the check to them with your own postage!

– Keep an eye on your monthly statements. They may charge additional fees without your knowledge which you may not notice!

    Scumbags of the earth. I would rather eat lava than to have to deal with these people. Hate is not a word used in my house and I can’t find a better fitting word to describe my feelings for them!

  2. Why would your loan company make it difficult to change the funding account for your payments?

    If you try to change the funding account for paying your mortgage, you are put into a black hole where you don’t know for sure whether it was changed or not. Arvest takes a very long time to make the change, so if it misses one of your payments, you’ve got a hefty penalty. If they believe you genuinely made an error with their slow external account registration, then you are told you will have the penalty waived one time only. After that you get charged penalties. But it’s very difficult to change the funding account without incurring a penalty. This is not a great company, honestly.

    They had received my mortgage payment before I received any letter confirming they were the new owners of the loan, or a payment booklet. I have requested numerous times, not to be contacted at work. I have provided several other numbers and email to reach me at.

    Additionally central mortgage changed the locks on me, after receiving my non-late payment, and with no correspondence. Illegally locking me out of my house, for no reason. They hired a contractor to weatherize my home. When contacting them they lost the lock box combination to access the new key.

    they don’t care about your credit and returning the payments says to me that maybe they are trying to keep the principle higher to collect more interest. I would highly recommend staying away from this company!!!

    If you have another option for a mortgage, refinancing or any type of loan I would avoid Arvest Central Mortgage. CitiMortgage, USAA, BMO Harris and many others do not charge their customers if they choose to pay their mortgage online. Furthermore, most companies would not tell their customers three times they’ll mail out a coupon book then not come through without any correspondence.

  9. My mortgage was sold to these backward farmhand hicks in.

    My mortgage was sold to these backward farmhand hicks in February. Its now May, no coupon booklet. Have contacted them 5 times – no avail. Their own website says 10-15 business days to get a booklet. Its been over 60+.
    In addition, they charge $5 fee to do an electronic payment. Seriously.

    Stay away from this company at all costs and when you buy a mortgage, get it in writing that the company you purchase from will never sell your mortgage to this moronic bank o’ morons- or run to another mortgage company. This one, is the worst I ever had – I’ve had 7 in 27 years.

    We were starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel. Now we have received a notice from a collection agency demanding immediate payment of the two moths past due or else they will garnish his pay.

    So now we will not be able to pay the mortgage again, Because it seems we have to pay the collection agency $4,000 now along with our normal $1,735.00 to Central Mortgage.

  13. Don't waste your time.

    they sent us the forms, which we filled out and gathered all the papers they asked for, we then emailed and faxed all of it. Two weeks later we were told that upon review they recommended we do a short sell of the house and to call them with any offers so they could make sure it was adequate.

    Now keep in mind that at this time we had never missed a payment or even been late for one payment. My husband still had a excellent credit rating and the house was only mortgaged for half of it’s value.

    They said we didn’t qualify for anything because his income was too low, (even though we always paid) and because we have a money market account (that we can’t touch for years) so that is how our personal hell started.

    all i wanted was to know if i could make an online payment. i was searching the net to try and figure out who owns this company and found this. very, very scary comments and i am quite concerned about their service.

    I guess i have no choice but to wait and see. but i will say that just the hassle i went through to reach a live person does not bode well.

To further add to my disgust the weatherization contractor stole about $100 worth of bathroom fixtures, which I hold central mortgage responsible, for allowing someone into my home without my consent! This company is illegal – I will be turning them into better business bureau and anyone else I can think of. Be warned!!
