Aqua Care USA

Aqua Care USA is voracious when it comes to money!

I wonder if sales representatives of every company target old people whom they can easily fool! Aqua Care targeted my 95 years old mother for a bathtub. A sales representative of Aqua Care drops by, gave his speech & show some DVD and presentation for convincing my mother to buy a bathtub. Not that she did not have any issues with the standard bathtub she had prior; there were some issues in getting in and out, but not major ones. Anyways, the sales rep convinced my mother on 3rd May, 2012 for a $22,000 bathtub. For some unknown reasons, she was given discount of 30% that reduced her cost to some amount, which was fine.

After I was informed about such an incident, I emailed her and let her know, how foolish she had been! How she could have asked many questions, which were essential but she did not. She had already signed a contract and a check with the sales rep. The check amounted to be $1450, which was to his personal name and not his company’s name! After the acknowledgment that she got from my side, she decided to exercise her legal right in cancelling her contract by informing the company within 72 hours of signing. The rep was also informed about the concerns and questions that I had with him and was asked by my mom to meet me, which he refused. After that I decided to get more cautious so I asked my mom to inform her bank about stopping the payment of $1450. Call it, loyalty towards there customer or necessity of getting those $1450 back, Aqua Care got really active after my mother’s cancellation of contract.

A man name Pagano, alleging himself as the owner of Aqua Care came to meet my mother in person. He did not just come to meet my mom, but also throw another offer which offered my mom another 20 percent, which made the bathtub now cost us, $12000 only. The second step took by Aqua Care on this matter was; they sent me a sales rep to answer all the questions I had for their firm. The rep seemed too novice for a department like sales, he might have never undergone a good sales lesson from anywhere. All his answers were terse to either yes or no! Even he understood my dissatisfaction towards him and asked me to call Mr. Pagano further. Calling Mr. Pagano was a lesson to be learnt in its own.

I called him on 14th May, 2017, which he did not answer, I called him again the same day; he did not answer. I was travelling that day, and after travelling for a while I receive an email from my mother stating how Aqua Care had withdrawn $12000 from her. This made me convince that Aqua Care didn’t give a shit about their customers, all they care about is the money. We made sure that they did not get $1450, this got them so upset that they entice my mother. Is this a way to deal with senior citizens? I don’t think Aqua Care had any right to do this and I am pretty convinced they do it intentionally! I warn others to beware.
