  1. They were efficient and I am so glad I hired them! Will definitely try to hire them for my next move!!

A.L.S. movers was amazing! They confirmed the day before, told me they’d arrive between 9 and 10 in the morning and were there at 9:15. They were all done at 11:45 and showed me an itemized list of what they were charging me for before I wrote my check.

They didn’t break anything even though I neglected to label anything as fragile. They were so nice and didn’t complain or charge me when I made them wait an extra half hour for the loading dock at the new place because there was a miscommunication with my reservation. They were efficient and I am so glad I hired them! Will definitely try to hire them for my next move!!

  2. Bad Service

Unfortunately, I cannot give ALS the glowing reviews everyone else seems to be giving them. I hired them to move a 1 bdrm apartment. It took them about 3 hours longer than the quoted time and cost almost twice as much as the quoted price.

There is absolutely no reason the move should have taken as long as it did, except that they were just slow. It took five hours just for them to get the already packed boxes out of my relatively small apartment.

They claimed it was because of the furniture they had to disassemble. However, there were only three pieces that needed disassembling. Two only required legs being removed and the third I was able to reassemble myself in about ten minutes.

Moreoever, they had also rented a uhaul truck that barely fit everything so they took an extra 20 or 30 minutes trying to pack everything in.

  3. Scammer

Never got to use them as they do NOT return phone calls!

  4. I guess they don't want my money.

Recommended to me by a friend, so I sent a request on their website for a quote (twice) and left a voicemail asking for a quote…no one even got back to me. I was thinking they were no longer in business and then I saw a few reviews in. I guess they don’t want my money….
