Alpine Mortgage Planning
Terrible ExperienceAlpine Mortgage Planning was my most significant waste of time. Although the initial consultation was good, you were transferred to an assistant.
I was denied a mortgage after 2-3 months. They felt that I should have paid my previous loan mortgage payment despite proving hardship.
They gave me a thorough explanation, and they said they would approve me for a loan if I could prove that my job had forced me to move out of state.
They asked me to produce documentation that proved I was working from home.
This took me a long time, and they only told me that my loan was shorted after I had made the mortgage payments.
They would have known that the only way I could short-sell back then was to stop paying my payments.
They are done when the alpine mortgage is over with you. It wasn’t enjoyable dealing with these guys.
Most mortgage brokers give a range of 4 to 6 weeks to close on a FHA loan.
Most mortgage brokers offer a 4 to 6-week turnaround to close an FHA loan. Alpine Mortgage was the seller and took 58 days to close on my FHA loan. This resulted in me having to pay rent on a vacant apartment while I waited for my home to complete.
This isn’t something I would recommend to my worst enemy. Alpine Mortgage and the buyer’s agent made excuses and pointed fingers. They don’t deserve a single star. I wish I could have given them fewer stars!
