Airpark Dodge Chrysler Jeep

This dealership is full of crooks and liars

This dealership is full of crooks and liars. Now we find out that the car we purchases a month ago, Airpark Dodge never even got the title from the other dealer, have never submitted it to MVD, lender, insurance, and have NOT released the title or loan of car we traded in.

This dealership has the most incompetent, worthless people in the sales and finance teams!!! Management is completely dismissive and nonchalant about the performance of their sales and finance team. No one knows who is supposed to do what and when. Seriously, run away and avoid this place!!!

We have attempted to reach the sales, finance, and manager of the dealership regarding this issue and we have not receive any response back. We have also spoken to Dodge Corporate and they have been unable to give us any answers as to why title has not been registered or transferred. We have attempted to speak to the title manager and no response back.

The dealership is now in violation of AZ statute 28-2060. Transfer of ownership by operation of lawWe will be suing the dealership now that our loan is on the line because of the dealership’s incompetence and we will be filing a complaint with the Attorney General’s Office.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:

Avoid this dealership at all costs! It was one of the worst buying experiences that we have ever had. We found a car that we wanted but the dealership had to attempt to get it from Bill Luke. They assured us that they could get the car from Bill Luke but they needed to negotiate a deal first. We negotiated and came to an agreement and decided to go forward.

We get to the credit app and we told them specifically that we only wanted the credit run ONE time as we already had a pre-approval. Finance states “oh yeah it will only hit your credit once”.

Lie #1 – they ran it NINE times! They even went on to state that even if it runs through several banks, it would only count as one. Look out for them running multiple credit checks without your permission affecting your credit score.

Lie #2 – while we were discussing “meeting with the finance guy”, we suggested that they actually call Bill Luke to make sure the car was available. They assured us they were and that they could get the car that day or the next morning. Great! That was a lie. They never called.

Lie #3 – while signing the deal, we asked the finance guy if we were putting the cart before the horse since we had not had an answer from Bill Luke yet. No no no, he assured us that it was just small detail, they will get the car, they just have to figure what what they are trading with Bill Luke in order to obtain the car. That was a lie. Deal was signed, about to hand cash over and we ask him to check with the guy who was supposed to speak with Bill Luke. They come back and said “oh, we won’t be able to get it till Monday, their inventory guy doesn’t work on the weekend”.

So no we have a contract for a car that they don’t even know if it is available or if Bill Luke will even give it to them. We decided to rip up the contract and as we were about to leave they all scattered like cockroaches that had the light turned on. Dale in finance was very apologetic and swayed us to wait and see if he could personally make it right.

We went home and researched and found another car and asked if they could inquire about it. Lie #4. They assured us they were checking on it. Never heard back from them for two days. Obviously they were waiting on confirmation on the signed deal on a car at Bill Luke which they refused to deal with them on. They finally were able to obtain the other car which we had to redo all the paperwork as the deal had the wrong VIN.

They had the car for a week as my husband had to go out of town. We arrive to pick up the car and there was a ding on the door and they hadn’t even bothered to put on the brake and gas pedal accessories.

There is so much more, but I think you can get the jist that this dealership is full of liars and scammers. Worst I have ever dealt with in over 30 years of car buying. We are in the market for a Jeep Wrangler and we will be avoiding this dealership at all costs for this purchase. If you find yourself here, turn arou

  1. We also later found out the Zaktec spray protection is not so mandatory as the sales man stated.

Airpark scammers!!! Me and my son recently purchased 2 brand new trucks from airpark at the same time. We got scammed into the “mandatory” Zaktec protection for our trucks. We both took our trucks in for the first time for the “protection” spray to be applied.

I also had the oil changed on my truck. When we arrived to pick up our trucks they look like they had never even been washed. There were hard water spots left on, dirt, and greases finger marks all over the front grill and hood.

We looked around the corner and all they do is run it through a POS carwash they have in back. We were %100 dissatisfied with result of our experience. We also later found out the Zaktec spray protection is not so mandatory as the sales man stated.

  2. Bad Service

Save yourself a lot of grief, do NOT ever buy or get a vehicle serviced here.

  3. I walked off feeling very disappointed on the overall experience. LIAR!

I was promised a price of 12000 USD on a JEEP PATRIOT. I spoke and confirmed this with the salesman working in this dealership. I was told “Sure, we have a deal”. He even texted me to confirm on the price. I decided to go there on Thursday and buy it straight up.

I informed this to the concerned salesperson. I reached the dealership and told the person about my intention to buy the vehicle. So we started the paperwork and I wanted to confirm once more before I sign on the dotted line about the 12K price tag. That’s when this guy started negotiating on the price. I was extremely disappointed at this point as I thought and had previously confirmed with the dealership on this price.

As a previous customer who has a history of buying multiple vehicles in the past from this dealership, I felt cheated. The salesperson basically went back on his given WORD. I was wrong to believe in them and their HONEST RETURN CUSTOMER POLICY/TREATMENT. I walked off feeling very disappointed on the overall experience. LIAR!! LIAR!! LIAR!

  4. The only person this was not true of is Doyle Buckmaster, Service Director.

Never take your car to this dealer’s service department! I have a Dodge Journey. Around the 1st of May the Check Engine light went on. We had received no earlier warning messages, there wasn’t a drop of oil in the garage and the car had been driving fine.

First we took it to a local mechanic for diagnostics and was told there was no fluids in the engine and it would need to be replaced completely.

My son took it to Airpark so that we could have it fixed under the power train warranty. It took several days for them to agree that the car’s engine had failed. Then they asked written documentation of all maintenance which we could not provide. Lesson earned: keep every receipt for anything you have done no matter how minor. If you do the work yourself, keep the receipt for the oil purchase.

Without the written documentation Airpark and Dodge have both refused to honor the car’s warranty. Throughout this process I found each person unable to clearly communicate and very slow to respond.

It would take several messages from us to get a reply back. The only person this was not true of is Doyle Buckmaster, Service Director.

  5. Basically, bring it in again so we can rip you off for another couple hundred.

Took my RAM truck in twice for the same problem, low oil pressure tripping check engine light. Spend couple hundred dollars both times. Guess what, still doesn’t work right.

When I called and explained that I wanted them to discuss it with factory or have the factory look at it, they declined. Basically, bring it in again so we can rip you off for another couple hundred.

  6. I feel that a refund is due me based on what it cost me and what I still had to pay.

Service dept was very helpful in resolving some strut issues on my 2014 Challenger SRT8 that I thought would be covered by my extended warranty (MPP) and they were not, but with help of Stephen Parker my service writer and others there we came to a reasonable compromise.

My issue is with MPP warranty as it is worthless and covered nothing. DO NOT buy this warranty ask for something different!!! I feel that a refund is due me based on what it cost me and what I still had to pay.

  7. Airpark Jeep! Horrible service department!

Airpark Jeep! Horrible service department! Called my customer service rep said I need serious recall and other repairs and service. I was told too busy sold twice as many vehicles..get you in next week. I say ok. Not an hour later car breaks down.

Call back no call back, no attempt to get road side, told to take it some were else. Now that the car is fixed warranty will not pay covered warranty repairs. Must be taken to Chrysler certified dealership. But you cant take it too Dealership. Don’t Care! My response no more Jeeps. Scott Bird

  8. Bad Service Provide

I bought a 14 Jeep Cherokee in, that I asked to have a tow package on. AAA found one with everything except the tow package so I bought it. Forward to this summer, I went to Airpark Jeep to get the tow package. I was told that it was 800.00 and made an appointment to have it installed. When I picked my vehicle up it had no wiring, and I was told that it (wiring) was not available.

I recently called Larry Miller Jeep and found out that not only the harness was available, but should have been installed when the hitch was installed. In other words I was RIPPED OFF by Airpark Jeep. I will never again deal with them, but will write a letter to Jeep’s regional Manager and relate the same story to them.

  9. Beware of Ed Kulas.

Beware of Airpark. Beware of Ed Kulas. Bought new car. Delivered with 400 additional miles on odometer. Was given no explanation. Found error on paperwork two days later. Called 20 times before Ed finally picked up phone. Refused to address issue. Again beware of Airpark. Beware of Ed Kulas.

  10. Never Again

horrible customer service @ service department. people like this is why dealerships/mechanics get a bad name and are one of the least trusted professions! stay away from this place…

run and find another Jeep dealership not operated by this location – very dishonest environment, rude workers and they “stick it to you” every chance they get! these people will lie and cheat you at every turn. do not trust them! find another place!

  11. Do not ask for Ben Dayton he is no help.

I would love to give this dealership no stars but that is not an option. First of all after I signed for the car and went out to it I realized there was a 2 inch scratch on the hood of my brand new jeep. That was a 3 month long battle for nothing. They did nothing for me.

And after months of trying to get a copy of my paperwork that I was told would be mailed to me I have still yet to receive it. Just got off the phone with them and they clearly don’t care to help.

I’ve called a dozen times and went in the dealership on a Saturday where someone met me and told me they would handle it. Still without paperwork 5 months later. Do not ask for Ben Dayton he is no help.

  12. Good Service

Wanted to share mine and my wife’s experience at Airpark dodge was awesome!!!!!!!!!! Chelsea Herman our sales women was incredible not pushy at all very relaxed and pleasant from start to finish sales manager buddy stiener very easy to work with got us the deal we wanted also there finance manager Robert translavina

very fast in and out by far the best car buying experience we have ever had. So thank you very much Airpark for everything we are very happy in our Mini Cooper

  13. Bad Service Provide

This dealership has the worst customer service I have ever experienced when it comes to the servicing of the vehicle. Brought it in for an appointment to service a warranty item, had the car for two days and had not even started looking at it. Had to call multiple times to get anything done only to wait another week to not have the parts come in like they promised.

All they give is excuses and never resolve any issues. No communication and not pro-active at all when it comes to dealing with the customer. We love our Town and Country but would never purchase from this dealership again and likely would not buy a Chrysler again as a result of the terrible service you receive once you have purchased the vehicle.

  14. BUY DO NOT A CAR FROM HERE!

They are liars and thieves and trying to cover up a transmission issue with all of the renegades until there is a class action suit. When I threatened the lemon law on them all of the sudden there was no issue with the transmission and they had no idea what I was talking about.

However with my experience with different mechanics there they have all told me that there is a common issue with fiats and renegades. If this issue is not resolved I will contact a lawyer. BUY DO NOT A CAR FROM HERE! You will be disappointed with your experience and your car.

  15. Do not do business with this dealership.

Do not do business with this dealership. I have bought several cars in my adult life and never have I been treated the way the employees at airpark Jeep treat their customers. There is problem with my transmission on my Jeep renegade.

I have brought it in three times none of which have fixed the issue. The first two times they “fixed” it without any argument. However on the third time they said there was no issue, and made me drive around with a technician to try and prove that something was wrong. I am a small woman and they sent a large man to ride around in the car and try and intimidate me. Whenever I would note that the problem would occur he told me he did not feel anything.

He then told me that my car was shifting from 1st to 4th gear to be gas efficient which was a attempt at lying to a woman they thought would believe anything they said. When I said I had opened a case with Jeep the man yelled at me to let him out of the car because it was now illegal for him to be in the act with him. However the dealership had told me that they would not do anything unless I opened a case.
