Air Express Appliance

they will not provide services promised.

We are a small non-profit in DC that aims to combat food inequalities in underserved communities.

Air Express Appliances was contacted to help us repair our dishwasher that had broken six months ago.

Hamid, a technician from Air Express Appliances, came to our home to fix our commercial dishwasher.

He charged us $300. Then he told us that he had to order parts to complete the job.

This took over three months to arrive, and we didn’t hear from them even after numerous phone calls.

They treated us poorly, and they did not seem to be a professional company.

After three more months of no service, we called to determine if they don’t service commercial dishwashers.

We had already paid a diagnostics fee. We have requested a refund.

We are hopeful that we will receive a refund.

This company will not deliver the services they promised.

  1. Complete trash company. Avoid.

Crooks!! They came out in August – although my window was open in the morning, they did not arrive until 6 pm. I then called them to confirm their location. My furnace had a gap in the transition duct. I needed it repaired. He measured it and took $150 from me. Then he took my credit card information to order the part.
They were offered a free coupon for a service call and a repair. They never came back to fix it. I called them at least 12 times from August to October, and they kept saying that someone would call me back. This never happened. I was told the part was available for purchase—the company that repaired it made the item on the spot.

  2. Complete Not trash company.

They said the part was available for me (I have since had it repaired, and the company made the item on the spot). They made several calls and put me on the phone with a tech. He claimed that I needed an entire furnace, as the gauges indicated a leak. But he didn’t bring any tools inside my home.

  3. Let's start off by saying I have NEVER been so angry.

Let’s say that I have never been so mad. This company came to my house to fix the washer, making strange noises. The guy, nicknamed Jay, then tells me he’s not strong enough to move my washing machine. The guy then drills a hole in the washer machine then hits it into a tube.
Our vinyl flooring is leaking, and we have just spent thousands. The floor will soon be up. I phone, and the man on the other end is disbelieving and sounds like he thinks I am crazy. After waiting over an hour, no one calls back. They are now screening the call and won’t answer because they received my ring from another number. I’m going to contact my lawyer to take this to court.

  4. but he never brought any tools inside the house.

I arrived on August 1, four hours late. Took measurements to fix a hole in the furnace duct. I poked at the fridge’s back to check for noises (it was still making noises). I ran and took my money—$ 150 for a service call. I had a coupon that would reimburse me for any completed repairs. BUT they vanished. Never called and never arrived to fix anything.
I’ve called them a dozen times, and they don’t know who I am or what I need. They connected me with one technician, who insisted that I needed a new furnace. He also talked about how my gauges indicated I had leaks and other issues. But he didn’t bring any tools into the house.
