  2. English guys selling durian trees for $4000 each LOL

I got a call from them after I see a Facebook ad and emails sent to me, from what I have seen after looking at the emails, they look unprofessional with hardly any info on the company and direct you to various links that have no credibility, they charge $40000 per tree for 10 trees LOL….. Stay well away! As a smart investor, You’re better off just investing in the index’s over 20 year period, you’d be much better off, plus you can cash out whenever you like should you need the funds.

  3. Total Scam. Not 1 harvest yet

  5. 100 % Fake Review

I invested 4 years ago, recently I top up again after visit their Plantation in Johor, my tree barcoded and can view anytime thru their apps, the company keep growing, when first I join only 2 Plantations now have 7 already, very high demand for Musang king, they use modern technology and taking care well, my daughter saw this post and share with me,

I start to get worried and met them, they explain abt competitor and as well some staff who are not happy being terminate, they do provide some document to verify. All I can say, they are legit, they have their own plantation in Johor, which u can see Ur own tree anytime Ur wish. We only need to use our brain and think, if u have extra money, happy with what they offer go on, there few company are doing Musang king which are legit, do Ur own research, in the internet expecially in review post, everything it’s not good..if u want to buy car, u want to buy house, kids University, all not good in internet review..all said scam la..???? we just need to use our brain only, attend their talk, don’t rush to go back after eating their free buffet n durian tasting food..seat n listen, use ur brain too. The project simple, straightforward & legit, their staff are friendly, some of bosses are white people, they make our Durian internationally, and handle their client professionally.

    1. AFG

Hi Sharon, I would like to know when you 1st invested? This investment looks so secretive which I cant access to more information and no where i can contact the sales person. Can you please share some light here?

  6. My dear Malaysians

My dear Malaysians, Singaporeans. Plantation scams have been around for a long time, people. The reviews here were collected over a short period and geo-located to Spain and the Americas. Think about the likelihood of Spanish investors viz-a-viz Musang King and Durian investments in Johore. How likely ?
I paid for a company search in Malaysia & Singapore. Suffice to say the information lacks any credibility by my standards. As for the reply from Andrew Lee – Who is Andrew Lee ? No linkedin profile, nothing on this individual in this individual on corporate website. I think save your money people; don’t get to be talked into scams by Englishmen. They won’t be able to pull this off in the UK, America, Canada or Australia with strict rules of broker and investment licensing. If you want to be assured. I suggest you ask to speak to internal corporate legal counsel; get his/her name and verify he/she is with the Malaysian Bar. Good luck.

  7. Separate New Company

Husband and me went for a durian presentation at midvalley mall in 2020 before the covid MCO under plantations international. Today we went again but this time the presentation is about a new company agroforestry group. Some things are the same but they told us they are a separate new company now.

Plantations international is in Thailand now with different owners and workers and dont have durian. Agroforestry group is Malaysian and doing all the durian growing. The durian farm expanded a lot from before and the trees look much bigger. No chance to visit yet but they invited us to go. Maybe during Hari Raya Haji break.

    1. Worried

D u buy any durian trees? Is the company legit?

  8. Official Response

    Fake Reviews from Competitors!

These reviews have been posted from competitors and are factually incorrect. Agroforestry Group is registered with the SSM, the official governing body of Malaysia which regulates businesses meaning it is certainly not a scam.

No monetary loss has ever occurred and we have NEVER hosted events, in Midvalley or elsewhere, these were hosted by others. This would have been very obvious had the people posting here actually attended.

In addition, we separated from Plantations International in 2021. We are a completely different company. Please do your homework and do not fall for unprofessional business practices.

    1. Agroforestry grp came to Singapore to host event to sell MSW trees plantation. Pls cfmd urgently.

  9. Avoid the Agroforestry Group at all costs

My parents and I went to Agroforestry Group presentation at midvalley mall, very high pressure sales tactics, kept us hostage for 5 hours, would not take no for an answer. in the end we stood up walked out.

  10. Scam similar to Plantation International Malaysia

This is a similar modus operandi as the musang king durian tree investment scam operated by Plantation International at Midvalley office (Malaysia). I used to work there but resign upon finding out how the company cheats people’s money.

Beware of the Plantation International scam.

    1. Its the same company!

It’s the same business, but they have rebranded. I went to a presentation at Midvalley and left after 30 minutes a few years ago. A pushy British guy then calls me, asking why I left to leave the next week. I then download about D197 investment with AFG and see from the picture that it’s on the same land in Johor from the picture.

    2. Plantation International is marketing arm, they still in business

Plantation International is a marketing company, now Agroforestry group have their own team for marketing. All this company doing business for real, your review about the company can cost u charge under defamation. In fact all Plantation company, whether is mango, pineapple, coconut, palm oil, operate a business in the similiar way, bcos this plantation not a unit trust company that people are familiar with, over here we need to educate people that how this business modul work, what is the calculation, what is the demand, what it’s economic situation in agro, if u not doing your work well and get terminated, that’s too bad for you, and don’t blame the company.

    3. Thank you for sharing- I was considering to invest and so appreciative that I see your review while doing my due diligence.

    4. I've spoken to Plantations Internecinal but would like to learn more about it

      Thank you Jessica,
I’ve been considering investing with Plantations International but I would like to understand more about it.
Can you please explain how do they scam people?
Is it possible to contact you privately to know more?
