Adrian Morrison

Adrian makes everyone fool

No doubt that I was fooled by this guy and that is the reason why I am here writing this review. I had never invested in an online course and never knew there are many options out there. Before you join this program, I would suggest to compare the price and quality of this course offered by Adrian Morrison with many others available on the internet. Because I failed to do so and lost more than 2000 bucks on this ecom success academy.

From no where, I do not know from where I got the sales call from one of the reps from ecom success academy. I assume that the call was made through my online search history and through the forms that I keep filling online that asks for more information. I am clueless about the same. However, after receiving the call, I tuned into my laptop’s browser to check what kind of course Adrian offered. I know I had searched for similar course in the past and was not looking for something right away, but I knew I had the urge to learn about dropshipping.

I started getting emails as well. I had myself provided the email to the sales rep. So, whom to blame. After few discussions, I agreed to pay for the course and I wanted to talk to Adrian before making the payment. For me, it was a huge amount. And, I wanted to know how much it would be helpful from the one who created it. The very next hour, this guy called me and told me that he was Adrian. He said that I was very lucky to be able to understand what this entails. Although I am wary of hard sales techniques, the course details overwhelmed me.

I am sure this guy must be fooling a lot of people around as he knows the right words and tricks to throw at you. He made me believe that I was the lucky one. Today when I think about it, I really not know if that was Adrian himself or some other sales guy. Anyway, I was one of the fools that paid Adrian for such a useless course. It is around 2500 USD. Oh god! He did make me pay such a huge amount by just talking on phone.

Adrian told me that I will be making much more than the course fee through dropshipping from Shopify. If you will google online, you will find many success stories that would tell you the journey from zero to millions. And, I was very much interested in becoming that no body. But, I failed to recognize the right course.

Once you get the access to the dashboard, you will find all the modules you will go through. The videos and content, all are accessible inside the dashboard. When I first signed in, I had trouble with the password and it took these guys two days to sort that problem out. And, there wasn’t any weekend in between.

After I was able to check the videos, it made me upset to find out the low quality that made it difficult to go through all the steps clearly. But that was not the only problem. The content is very limited. They will tell you to setup your store, about the products and from where you can source them, facebook and email marketing and others. There are modules that tell you what to do once the business starts pulling off. However, this is when you already have a set store or you must wait and try to get to that point to see if those modules work. Because, in my case, the strategies did not click.

Because the content lacked a lot of important points, I believe I paid that kind of money only to get ripped. And, there are many others who have the same experience with this course. I am not saying that this course has nothing. It has some of the key points. And, missing a lot of information. But some hundred dollars would have justified the course worth. A disclaimer should mention that the course is not complete and one must go through advanced skills for setting an ecom business.

I have no personal grudge for this guy. But thinking that he lied about everything and the course make me angry. I asked him many times before paying for the course that if I would ever need any other information. And, he replied with a ‘NO’.

What else can I say? If someone was so adamant at making me fool and scamming me for all the money I had in my savings account, then he must be a con artist. Is there another word for him?

The course leads you in between of no where. The products that he has mentioned won’t work for you like it worked for others in the case studies. It is because the market is saturated for those products and there is no more craze for those products as it used to be before. I believe that this is not very uncommon in ecommerce business and one must share skills on marketing more than trying the same products when teaching an ecom course.

In short, the course is designed based on Adrian experience and success. However, he must know that market changes and so the tools and technologies. There is no mention of Instagram influencers and other strategies. There is no updation of the course, I do not know from how long. All these are the reasons why this course has failed to help the majority of people joining it.

I would rather suggest to try others with less cost. The competition is higher and experts are ready to share their knowledge in much less price for better results. Adrian, on one hand, has not much to share and on the other hand, expects us to fill his bank account right away. This is cheating and he is not an expert at ecom business but at scamming others online.

  1. Adrian and Anthony Morrisson are a scam

I watched the video marketing multiple shopify site will be built using their AI site builder. I followed all their instructions and setup, paid all of there upgrade requests, and then nothing, I received all the emails thanking me for the orders, but still nothing.

  2. Yes he is a scam artist,

From the minute I got a phone call, gave my first $2,000, it has been nothing but automatic systems, no communication, and no help. It will haunt Shopify as well.

  3. DON'T do it

I had everything down loaded and was ready to go, but something kept telling me to do some Google review on this, so thankful I did.

  4. Adrian’s Shopify scam

Adrian did a great job getting multitudes of social media users to buy into his “free AI generated Shopify ztore” for us. You’ll go through the set up process only to find his “free” videos don’t work in the dashboard and NOTHING will be loaded to your Shopify. He gets paid for clicks and like a snake told us all to take a bite knowing that nothing was in it for us.

Now don’t get me wrong, I know this cost me technically nothing but some personal information, however I don’t believe someone like this should be rewarded for lying to us. At some point money and sleazy business practice have to separate.

  5. What a Relief..

Wow I nearly actually just started this, was jus doing my shopify and just thought I’d look online about it 1st, im so glad I did.

  6. Extremely disappointed $250 loss

I was promised replays, free products and other things if I joined the VIP GROUP. I’ve never received anything

  7. If in Doubt Stay Out!

I had my doubt from the start. To Many “easy” “Free” and the emails got me spinning.
I tried Shopify three times for 15 days and it wasn’t easy so When I ran across Mr Morrison Course I figured how much could it cost for some help. He didn’t start with a large amount just strung me a long and currently at about $400 a month and still haven’t made any money. The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. If Only I could talk to Shopify or His a team rep It could all be cleared up. I can see why he went this route Had he asked me to pay up front $2000 (Wake up Reb NO Course is Free) I couldn’t have afforded on my SS. I would rather have been told up front that a little at a time will pay for some of the steps so at least at present I could budget till the monies would start rolling in.
Gonna look for other ways to supplement my income. at my age I’ve seen so many things I prayed for and it came without stress and complications. I hit too many walls with these Gurus and Shopify. Good Luck…If it’s meant to be.. it will be it will be easy…

  8. Very outdated and incomplete course and poor support.

I implemented everything in the course, but haven’t made any sales. I signed up thru Lurn, as Adrian sold the program under their pitch, and promised to refund after 6 months if unsuccessful, with no questions asked. However when I reached out to support it was dismissed. They told me to focus and work harder. He quotes stuff from others as if it’s his own. He doesn’t keep his word. I feel that his ESA course is deliberately left as a skeleton course, so that we will reach out for the next level of help (and payment).
The course itself is messy with overlapping info, most content outdated (made in 2016) and bad labeling of topics. Some videos are taken from elsewhere and thrown in without editing.
    It’s not worth 2,500. Maybe only 250.
His so called support group on FB is pathetic. He swindles us into posting with promise of monetary reward but doesn’t give it. Just to get his metrics up. Hardly anyone in the group helps out. He is unavailable and doesn’t answer question on the group. His weekly informal training is regurgitation. There are some good tips but he has a conversation with himself. If you’re lucky, he might answer a question you’ve posted. But he rarely replies to anyone. It’s mainly a monologue.
Conclusion: I regret signing up, and did it only because he said he will refund if it didn’t work out. I don’t have a job and dug into my limited savings to pay. Shame on him with all his wealth and greed.

  9. waste of money

Please dont waste your money and time. Their coaches are not familiar with what they are supposed to teach and the turn around for coaches is high. so nothing is consistent, Please dont waste your money and time

  10. I signed up for Adrian drop shipping business about a month ago but had a change of heart about two days after. I tried sending emails and even calling the number they gave to refund my money but nothing. I just sent another email awhile ago but the email came back saying the address he gave is invalid. I just read some of the complaints written by others he scammed. I’m sure that pretty soon we’ll be hearing about him on the show titled AMERICAN GREED!

  11. Shopify and Adrian Morrison

I’ve been following the morrisons and many others for years. What the problem is certain marketing strategies should be illegal. There are psychological techniques that have been around since the first newspaper.

That said, is it a scam? Yes because it does not fully deliver what it appears to be and the claims that you don’t need skills to make it work are BS. Is it an illegal scam? No. Because there are no laws that govern shiny object syndrome. Like anything else it’s buyer beware.

I have been in the computer and tech world since day one a (started back in 1996) hence my name The Old Dos Geek.

All the claims that you don’t need any technical skills are ture. If you can afford to pay people to do the work for you. It’s like anything else in the real world. If you want to open a restaurant you will have to pay people like painters and electricians and so forth just to get things going. Then you will need cooks, a wait staff cashers and so on.

Now what most of these so called gurus don’t tell you is that most of them went to collage, and had high paying jobs like over $100,000 a year. And guys like the morrisons probably still were living at home with mommy and daddy plus making a good salary. And most likely had their college tuition paid by their parents.

I just want to say for the record I’m very sorry you fell prey to this type of marketing strategies and hope you learned from it. Just think of all the people that didn’t make it to this review before they bought into it.

    Shopify

Years ago I had a wholesale website, there was no drop shipping or amazon back then. I ordered the products first and shipped them and/or went locally to retailers and sold direct.

When I first found Shopify I couldn’t believe how great of a platform it was. I thought where have you been all my life. Then I got introduced to aliexpress. Man it was love at first site.

The first item I sold was one of those mini projectors. Yes it was so exciting, until my customer didn’t get it from china for 40 days after they ordered. Even though they got the item I still gave them a refund as I am an honest businessman. At that point shopify was a dead horse for me. Sure i could make money by creating stores for other business I’m a web master, but it was not my cup of tea.

My advice to anyone reading this is to go to a real school learn marketing learn business learn web and graphic design. Even if you learned just one of the above skills you will make a good living and be able to run your own business. or even teach the skills that your learned.

These guys aren’t real teachers, I hate it when the brag about how their students making it big. It’s all bullshit. Not to mention it was tons easier back before 2017 before google and facebook changed.

Don’t let these guys discourage you and best of luck.

  12. Adrian Morrison has outdated info and no student support

I cannot recommend paying for any services from Mpire Labs aka Adrian Morrison aka EcommMastermind aka Launch Wise, LLC. Waste of money. Bro Tactics. Outdated strategies. I paid for a year of access to Adrian Morrison’s Ecomm Mastermind in April 2021. In the entire year, the core content has NOT been updated nor any new materials added. It is certainly not a “Mastermind” where you can get feedback, accountability or support. I wouldn’t buy anything from this person again. When contacting support, they were rude.

  13. Adrian Morrison: an epic scammer

I am looking for a lawsuits against Adrian Morrison. I was scammed and his ecom program is useless! I spent a lot around $10,000+ but it didn’t work!

  14. Felt like a scam

I made the first payment of US$1000+ for a total 2500+ cost. I never received the kind of customer care and attention I needed. I ended up having to call Shopify and other services to figure out how to set up a store…

I sent many emails to support@adrianmorrisaon with no reply.

My “coach” was not very helpful and put an exorbitantly priced item in my store (yoga pants for $600 and much more). I feel ripped off. I am so glad I did not continue with the course.

I thought it strange that as soon as I signed up, someone called asking me to pay $6ooo to upgrade, and they would do the store for me.

Find another way to build your e-commerce business. And I was recommended this by Bob Proctor, who I highly respect!

  15. Wow... Just Wow

Im only to blame, however I subscribed a few months ago and its just eating away at my account. This is disgusting. I have only been in the ecommerce industry a short time, however I can assure you, no amount of money could ever push me to do this to others. I understand it was my choice to sign up, but they don’t even have a proper contact email…. wtf?
How unprofessional and greedy. I just canceled my card on them and ordered a newbie lol. I suggest you do the same, don’t wait for them to reply…. your money will be gone by then.

Ps. You don’t need a shitty course like this. Everything you need to know is online…. or I invested in a one-off course that I can hold onto and look back on with no re-occurring charges. I find this has been the best way to go about it, and I now have a few successful stores. Always do your research if your new. Wishing everyone success, but do it the right way please, there is already enough greed in the world 🙂

    Peace Out.

    1. Way to a Successful store?

      Hi Katie,
I don’t know if you are still available for advice regarding a Shopify
store. I read your review about Morrison and I am not going to go with him…Thank you!!
You stated that you have successful stores. I have a product that I want to sell on Shopify. Could you please diect me to the method
of creating a store that works? I do not have much computer knowledge but am willing to learn.
Thanks for your time and consideration, Katie.
